Minor in CIS
The department also offers a minor in Computer Information Systems for those interested in the field, but with primary interest elsewhere. The courses required to complete this minor include:

CSC101 Introduction to Problem Solving Using Computers, CSC199 Introduction to Information Technology, CSC232 Visual Basic Programming I (4), CSC260 Application Program Development in COBOL I, CIS307 Decision Support Technologies, CIS317 Principles of Information Systems Analysis and Design and one course in CIS/CSC/TSM at the 3xx level or above (with CIS advisor approval).
